WAVE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

Intensive Outpatient Program(IOP) for Children, Adolescents, and Teens

Comprehensive Treatment Approach:

IOP offers a comprehensive approach to mental health treatment for children, adolescents, and teens, incorporating a range of therapeutic interventions, educational components, and supportive services to address various mental health concerns. Participants engage in structured programming several times a week, typically for a few hours each session, allowing them to receive intensive support while still maintaining connections with family, school, work, and other responsibilities.

Therapeutic Services

Participants in an IOP receive a variety of therapeutic services tailored to their age group, including individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and skill-building workshops. These services are designed to address the unique needs and goals of each individual, providing support, guidance, and resources for healing and recovery.

Flexible Schedule

One of the key features of Wave’s IOP is its flexible schedule, which accommodates the needs of children, adolescents, teens, and their families. Therapy sessions may be scheduled during the day or evening, allowing participants to attend while still maintaining their daily routines and responsibilities.

Community Support and Peer Interaction

Wave Behavioral Health’s IOP provides opportunities for participants to connect with peers who are facing similar challenges, fostering a sense of community, understanding, and support across age groups. Group therapy sessions allow participants to share experiences, gain insights, and learn from each other in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Family Involvement

Family involvement is an integral part of IOP for children, adolescents and teens, with opportunities for family members to participate in therapy sessions, educational workshops, and treatment planning. Family involvement helps strengthen family relationships, improve communication, and provide support for the individual’s recovery journey.

Empowerment and Personal Growth

Above all, Wave’s IOP is designed to empower individuals of all ages to take an active role in their recovery journey, build coping skills, and achieve personal growth, and wellness. With a focus on empowerment, resilience, and self-discovery, IOP provides the tools and support individuals need to overcome challenges and thrive in their lives.
